So much emphasis is placed on the craft of playing which is, of course, the primary focus & incredibly important, but not enough on the craft of building a successful career with longevity and fulfillment. 

 

We are so in love with our art form, but when reality hits and the rent is due, there is an immense feeling of overwhelm and fear that can ensue.  

 

Often times, we feel confused, uncertain, and fearful to ask for help. 

 

We look at social media and feel like we should be doing more and be at a 'certain place' in our career. 

 

We may feel that if we did not go to a specific festival, competition, or study with a specific teacher, it will impact the rest of our lives. 

 

Sometimes feelings of unworthiness, not feeling good enough, or overwhelm arise.

I am here to say that there IS a way to create stability, fulfillment, and feel in the control of the career we are creating. 

 

It is absolutely possible to create and live your artistic mission and attract financial abundance at the same time.

What I have come to learn through over 20 years of performing, teaching, artistic directing, contracting, is that I have essentially become an ENTREPRENEUR. 

 

I never thought of myself in that way because I identified as a concert cellist until I lived the reality of each concert season and what it took to

 

• manage my own performing career traveling & playing 40-60 concerts a year

• artistic direct 2 chamber music series: Carriage House Concerts & Lyrica Chamber Music 

• build a thriving teaching/coaching business

• speaking at universities about life as an artist and musician as an entrepreneur

• maintain & grow my playing to new levels

 

With my real-life concrete experience in these areas as well as years attending seminars, books, and coaches, I will give you the tools to design your career.
